Friends of the Parks
Are you interested in making a positive contribution to the management and development of your local park? Then please join the Friends Groups to help make a difference.
Main objectives of Friends Groups are to:
- promote the responsible use of the parks
- enhance the parks for the benefit of the whole community
- improve the recreational and educational facilities of the parks
- enhance, protect and promote the natural environment within the parks
- protect and promote the heritage and historical artefacts of the parks
- raise funds to support the work of the group
